How, When and If We Tell Our Stories
Ep. 30: How, When and If We Tell Our Stories
How much do you share with your clients?
In this episode I share about how so many of us coaches, therapists and facilitators are told that we should tell our stories to build trust with clients and potential clients. On the other hand, some of us are told not to share anything about ourselves so we can be blank slates and so that we don’t influence our clients with our experiences.
I share my perspective on both sides of this conversation and tips on how to strike a balance between the two. This applies to our marketing and your direct interactions with clients and students.
✷ How can we check within our own bodies to understand how, when and why sharing our stories can sometimes be beneficial
