There are so many ways we get pulled out of the present moment. One of them is focusing on what's missing or what's wrong with the moment. It can be so difficult to appreciate what's right here and right now if we're not in the habit of actively creating new neural pathways in our brains that support increasing natural gratitude and appreciation.
